On 09/17 Extra GDay, Globe Platinum announced a collaboration with Distort Monsters

The relationship between Globe Platinum and visual artist Distort Monsters will be unveiled on September 17, 2022, in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City, making this year’s 0917 Extra GDay celebrations even more memorable.

At the Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater, beginning at 2 p.m., you can see Distort Monsters paint a mural live. Heavily influenced by skateboarding and punk rock, the prominent Filipino graphic artist is known for his bright, multilinear creatures. Increased attention on his work may be traced back to his transition from toys and street art to non-fungible tokens in recent years (NFTs). Listen to live music while sipping premium booze from Diageo’s Rare & Exceptional range as you witness Distort Monsters work on his latest creation with your Globe Rewards points.

After the live mural painting is complete, Globe Platinum will show off the rest of its partnership with Distort Monsters. The artist’s famous wall murals and three-foot Monster Heads will be on display at the Platinum Series Hub at the T-Park on High Street South. These works were previously displayed at Art In The Park and quickly sold out. The majority of the artwork seen within the Hub is presented in a special edition colorway designed by Distort Monsters especially for this project. Interested Globe Platinum members can win these items by scanning the accompanying QR codes to place a bid in a silent auction.

The resulting premium collection from 0917 Lifestyle features the collaborative artwork and can be purchased by guests. In order to purchase the exclusive gear, including a reversible bomber jacket, button down shirt, bucket hat, tote bag, plush toys, and more, Globe Platinum users need simply show their “PLATINUM” signal from their smartphones. People who aren’t yet members of Globe Platinum can purchase exclusive graphic tees as well.

Visitors can take part in the Monster Hunt from the Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater on their route to the Platinum Series Hub. Taking pictures of certain monsters along the way and posting them online with the hashtags #GlobePlatinum and #OwnTheExtraordinary is all that is required. They can bring their posts to the Hub to exchange for a premium collection item, some of which are limited edition.

Platinum Series Hub hours are 10am – 8pm, Monday – Saturday, through October 16, 2022. Attendees can meet with Platinum Relationship Managers who will be happy to tell them more about the newest features available from Globe Platinum.
