Beko, a global appliance manufacturer, was inspired by the idea that people can only live healthily if they are surrounded by a healthy environment, so they created products like the HarvestFresh refrigerator and the SteamCure steam oven to help people lead more convenient and healthier lives without compromising on either.
IFA Berlin 2022, one of Europe’s largest home electronics and consumer trade shows, opened its doors on Friday, September 2 and Beko displayed its latest product innovations there. Included in these cutting-edge home solutions is Beko’s groundbreaking new innovation, SaveWater.
SaveWater is scheduled for a worldwide release in September of this year. This innovation in dishwashers, washing machines, and dryers has been developed to clean effectively while conserving water. The new SaveWater series by Beko was created with water efficiency in mind, and it returns up to 7.8 liters of water to you and the environment with each cycle.
Beko’s mission is to create long-lasting and high-quality products that help consumers live healthier and more in harmony with the environment, and SaveWater is a shining example of this commitment.
Beko’s SaveWater dishwasher provides water-efficient washing and the lowest water consumption in the company’s product line.
With a capacity of 16 place settings, it uses only 6.9 liters of water to efficiently wash a full load. The SaveWater function conserves water from the last rinse phase of the dishwashing cycle, storing it hygienically and securely in the appliance’s water tank. This can be reused at the beginning of the next wash, allowing homes to save 2.6 liters of water per Eco program wash.
To ensure clean and safe conditions, the water in the tank is emptied after a maximum of 72 hours if the dishwasher is not used during that period.
The SaveWater washing machine and tumble dryer set was created to reduce water usage without sacrificing cleaning power or comfort, and they’re easier on Mother Nature, too.
The SaveWater tumble dryer feature works with compatible Beko washing machines where water collected during the drying cycle is fed directly into the washing machine to be used in the next washing cycle.
To save time and effort, the washing machine can get its water supply from the water collected by the tumble dryer during each drying cycle. This cutting-edge apparatus was designed to address the problem of what to do with the safe and clean water that accumulates in washing machine and dryer tanks.
The SaveWater technology is built with water efficiency in mind, thus it helps save water supplies by reusing the water that would otherwise be wasted.
The AquaTech® Washing Machine from Beko uses less energy and water than conventional washing machines while maintaining the same high standard of cleanliness.
Washing detergent and water are intelligently premixed in the solution, and then cascaded onto the fabric before cleaning, reducing energy consumption at the outset of the washing cycle.
This waterfall effect allows the detergent to thoroughly permeate the fabric, increasing the wash’s strength and facilitating a fantastically quick and delicate clean.
Energy is saved in the Beko AquaTech® Washing Machine by minimizing the amount of time the drum spins and instead relying on the force of the water to clean the clothes.
Using up to 30% less energy than the maximum allowed by a class ‘A’ energy rating, the unique AquaTech® technology allows homeowners to reap the benefits of both quick and gentle programs.
No longer would it be necessary to wash an 8-kilogram load of laundry in many cycles, and the risk of harm to the textiles laundered was greatly reduced.
The revolutionary and environmentally favorable effects of Beko’s SaveWater technology will finally be on display this September.
Beko, together with its parent business Arçelik, is a forerunner in the sustainable home appliance industry, so it’s no surprise that it’s become a leading brand in Europe. They did this by adhering to a sustainability mandate, taking a systemic approach to incorporating cutting-edge technologies into production to lessen waste, and making use of eco-friendly packaging options.
