I used this feature when I was out in a crowded mall, and it definitely worked well – even without increasing the volume to max. I can hear the phone call without moving to a quieter space. The earbuds are also intelligent enough to know when I’m outside, and in a more tranquil space, so they turn on noise cancellation for me. When it’s more bustling around the area or if there is too much noise pollution in my location, this feature will kick off more substantial levels, making things less stuffy.

Another simple test I did was done simply in my room. Using a fan and placing it near me, I could differentiate the earbud’s sound quality as soon as I turned on the noise cancellation. At the same time, these intelligent microphones have gone through extensive data learning and modeling based on various scenarios of noisy environments for better performance when running or riding or even during severe weather conditions.

Connecting your device to the app will give you a more enhanced experience. Huawei AI Life app has a panel dedicated to adjusting and enhancing your device’s sound. In addition to this default setting from the company’s Devialet produced sounds library or custom equalizer tool, which supports 10 banded adjustments enabling users to create their own listening style.
